Darth Vader escapes jail
A man dressed as Darth Vader has escaped jail in no other than wacky-land also know as USA.
He assaulted a member of the ‘Jedi church’ which further led to his arrest.
In the UK, 0.7% of the nation registered their religion as ‘jedi’….wow!

Credit crunch
It’s coming. Big time.
But I saw this back in 2002/2003 when UK had more credit card debt than the whole of europe.
Everyone had a loan, credit card or financing of some sort. Changed from the 90s when it was difficult to get a mortgage.
Now we’re seeing the ‘over-boost’ of using easy-borrow cash. In fact the banks are borrowing at a higher rate than they’re lending out at.
Capitalism has to have these dips. But this time I fear, US and UK have been using performance enhancing cocktails of lending to fire their economies up – combined with the Iraq bill, it’s something to be concerned about.

Drum and Base party…..the best part of the 90s
Found this drum and base party the other day, in my opinion the best electronic music to come out of the 90s.
Just to prove the fact, INTABEATS still plays tunes from circa 1994/1995. Although it was a minority market, drum and base or jungle as it was otherwise known comprised of a faster version of techno without the cheese (no lyrics). As well, it wasn’t as hard on your ears as Hardcore techno.
Melodic lyrics are allowed in drum and base but not common.

Housing crisis for first time buyers…
What a load of crap. We’ve heard this one for about 2 years now. Yup, the bottom of the property ladder is hard to get on and the average age of a 1st time buyer is 33. It’s old news.
Anyway, Gordy seems to think he has the answer by planning to build more homes by 2020 – which will mean about 2030, by which point someone who is 30 now will be 53 and will benefit greatly from his…er. policy. Too little too late dickhead.

Sex drug control for the paedophiles
Drugs to reduce libido are being proposed to keep paedophiles from offending.
It seems UK has an obsession with sex offenders – I think it’s the UK’s bashfulness and unopen attitude to sex that revolts in a high teenage pregancy rate and media whoop-me-up of sex offences.
The proposals are to let parents know where paedeophiles live in their area for the safety of their children.
The question is this – are they going to tell us where the convicted murderers and rapists are so we can protect ourselves? Or is it a special case for paedophiles…?
